Chocolate Cake
Chocolate Cake- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup water
- 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 tsp espresso power
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 cup sour milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13-inch pan. Heat chocolate, butter and water in microwave until melted. Stir occasionally until smooth. Cool to room temperature.
- Mix together flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and espresso powder in a bowl. Add milk, eggs and vanilla . Add cooled chocolate mixture and mix together. Pour into baking pan.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
