- 2 cups of Sourdough Starter
- 2 Eggs, separated
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon fresh ground ginger or 1 tsp. of dry ground ginger
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 to 4 tablespoons of cooking oil or melted butter
- Beat egg whites.
- Mix all other ingredients.
- Fold in egg whites.
- Bake in waffle iron following manufacturer directions.
