Popovers
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 7/8 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- Oil popover pans (or muffin tins) and heat for 10 minutes in a hot oven at 450 F degrees.
- Sift flour with salt.
- Beat eggs in separate bowl. Add milk and melted butter.
- Stir the liquid slowly into dry ingredients. Beat until well blended, but no longer. Pour batter into the pans, filling 1/3 full. Bake in 450 F oven for 20 minutes, lower heat to 350 F degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove at once from the pans.
