Sourdough Waffles

Sourdough Waffles

  • 2 c of Sourdough "Starter"
  • 2 eggs (separated)
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 1/4 c flour
  • 1 T fresh ground ginger or 1 tsp. of dry ground ginger
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 3 to 4 T cooking oil or melted butter

  1. Mix all ingredients except egg white.
  2. Beat egg whites.
  3. Fold egg whites into batter.
  4. Make waffles.
